DE DELDOT
BATTA Environmental has worked closely with the Delaware Department of Transportation for many years. Currently, the BATTA team is assisting DelDOT with asbestos management services at various locations throughout the state. DelDOT requires these services in support of their right-of-way acquisition and demolition of numerous properties for the construction of new roads. The contract extends three years and requires a number of different services. Our BATTA Project Managers are on call 24/7 in order to facilitate sampling, testing, design, and abatement monitoring. Specifically, the BATTA team will oversee the completion of the following tasks:
- Asbestos Sampling and Testing
- Laboratory Services
- Abatement Construction Specification Development
- Assistance in Selection of Abatement Firms
- Abatement Monitoring Activities
- Preparation of Reports
- Sampling, Testing, and Risk Assessments for Lead-Based Paint (LBP)
- Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) Sampling and Testing
- Worker Health/Safety Plans
- Other Services as Required
