about us

Federal Government

BATTA Environmental Associates has recently been awarded a GSA contract, which affords us an open line of commerce with federal agencies. We feel it is very important to offer our services in an effort to better federal and military facilities. We have just scratched the surface of the vastly important federal market. However, some of our previous experience does include with the Dover Air Force Base, GSA buildings in Washington DC and New York, Architect of the Capitol, and Federal Aviation Administration.

Our GSA Contract is approved for the following SIN Codes
BATTA Environmental Associates, and its subsidiary BATTA Laboratories, have been awarded General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule certification (GS-10F-0004T) for Environmental Sciences contracts. BATTA’s certification makes it the first full-service environmental laboratory in Delaware to be awarded a long-term contract on the GSA schedule.

The Federal Supply Schedule program has established a 5-year contract certifying BATTA’s qualifications for Federal government agencies and streamlines the process for companies seeking a GSA schedule-certified lab to perform services associated with environmental analysis. BATTA has been certified in the Environmental Services 899 category, SIN 899-1, 899-2, 899-3, 899-4, and 899-8 for Environmental Planning Services & Documentation; Environmental Compliance Services; Environmental Occupational Training Services; Waste Management Services; and Remediation Services. BATTA has our own laboratory to support our services. When we perform work under one of these contracts, we don’t have to send our samples to another lab for results. That saves money on the overall project. BATTA can perform services from sampling to analysis to reporting. It also eliminates the need for other federal contract holders to include other direct costs (ODCs). BATTA is now one of only two GSA 899 contract holders nationally with in-house laboratory capability, and the only one east of the Mississippi.
